CCL24（Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 24，中文译为趋化因子配体24）是一种属于CC趋化因子家族的分泌蛋白，也被称为嗜酸性粒细胞趋化因子-2（Eotaxin-2）。CCL24通过与细胞表面的趋化因子受体CCR3结合发挥作用，主要参与免疫细胞的迁移和炎症反应调控。CCL24在多种组织中表达，包括肺、肝、皮肤和肠道，尤其在过敏性疾病和慢性炎症中发挥关键作用。CCL24的主要生物学功能是趋化嗜酸性粒细胞、嗜碱性粒细胞和Th2型辅助T细胞到炎症部位，从而参与过敏反应（如哮喘、特应性皮炎）和寄生虫感染的免疫防御。CCL24基因的突变可能导致其表达或功能异常，与多种疾病相关，如哮喘、慢性鼻窦炎伴鼻息肉（CRSwNP）、特应性皮炎和某些自身免疫性疾病。CCL24过表达会加剧嗜酸性粒细胞浸润和炎症反应，可能加重过敏性疾病或纤维化疾病（如肺纤维化）；而降低表达可能减弱炎症反应，但也可能影响抗寄生虫免疫。CCL24属于CC趋化因子家族，该家族成员均含有保守的半胱氨酸残基（C-C基序），主要调控白细胞迁移和炎症反应。目前针对CCL24的靶向药物（如抗CCL24抗体）正在研发中，用于治疗嗜酸性粒细胞相关疾病。专业术语解释：趋化因子（Chemokine）是一类能吸引免疫细胞定向迁移的小分子蛋白；嗜酸性粒细胞（Eosinophil）是一种与过敏和寄生虫防御相关的白细胞；Th2细胞（T helper 2 cell）是一种辅助性T细胞亚群，参与过敏和抗寄生虫免疫。

This gene belongs to the subfamily of small cytokine CC genes. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity on resting T lymphocytes, a minimal activity on neutrophils, and is negative on monocytes and activated T lymphocytes. The protein is also a strong suppressor of colony formation by a multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cell line. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
