CCL20（Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 20，趋化因子配体20）是一种小分子细胞因子，属于CC趋化因子家族（CC chemokine family），该家族成员的特征是含有两个相邻的半胱氨酸（C-C motif），主要功能是招募免疫细胞到炎症或感染部位。CCL20主要由上皮细胞、树突细胞和某些肿瘤细胞分泌，其生物学功能是通过结合受体CCR6（C-C chemokine receptor type 6）发挥作用，CCR6主要表达于Th17细胞、调节性T细胞（Treg）、B细胞和树突细胞等免疫细胞表面。CCL20在炎症反应、免疫防御和组织稳态中起关键作用，特别是在黏膜免疫（如肠道、皮肤和肺部）中，它通过趋化CCR6阳性细胞参与病原体清除和免疫调节。CCL20的突变或异常表达与多种疾病相关，例如类风湿性关节炎、银屑病、炎症性肠病（IBD）和某些癌症（如结直肠癌），其过表达会加剧炎症反应或促进肿瘤微环境的形成，而表达降低可能导致免疫监视功能减弱。在基因家族层面，CC趋化因子家族的共性是通过G蛋白偶联受体（GPCR）介导白细胞迁移和激活，参与免疫应答和炎症调控。如果CCL20过表达，可能引发过度炎症或自身免疫反应，而表达不足则可能削弱黏膜屏障的防御能力。此外，CCL20还能影响其他基因的表达，例如促进IL-17等促炎因子的产生，形成正反馈循环加重炎症。在肿瘤中，CCL20的高表达可能通过招募免疫抑制性细胞（如Treg）促进免疫逃逸。
This antimicrobial gene belongs to the subfamily of small cytokine CC genes. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The protein encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity for lymphocytes and can repress proliferation of myeloid progenitors.
