CCL11(也称为嗜酸性粒细胞趋化因子,英文全称C-C motif chemokine ligand 11)是一种趋化因子,属于CC趋化因子家族。趋化因子是一类小分子蛋白质,主要功能是引导免疫细胞迁移到特定部位,参与炎症反应和免疫调节。CCL11通过与细胞表面的趋化因子受体CCR3结合发挥作用,CCR3主要表达于嗜酸性粒细胞、嗜碱性粒细胞和Th2型辅助T细胞等免疫细胞上。CCL11的主要生物学功能是招募嗜酸性粒细胞到炎症或感染部位,参与过敏反应、寄生虫感染防御以及某些慢性炎症性疾病的发生发展。CCL11的特点包括分子量较小(约8-10kDa),具有保守的CC(半胱氨酸-半胱氨酸)基序,对嗜酸性粒细胞具有高度特异性趋化作用。当CCL11基因发生突变时,可能导致其表达水平或蛋白功能异常,进而影响嗜酸性粒细胞相关的免疫反应。CCL11过表达与多种疾病相关,包括哮喘、过敏性鼻炎、特应性皮炎等过敏性疾病,以及慢性阻塞性肺病(COPD)、特发性肺纤维化等慢性炎症性疾病。在阿尔茨海默病中,CCL11水平升高可能与神经炎症和认知功能下降有关。降低CCL11表达可能减轻过敏反应和慢性炎症,但可能削弱对寄生虫感染的防御能力。CCL11属于CC趋化因子家族,该家族成员均含有相邻的两个半胱氨酸(CC基序),主要功能是调节单核细胞、淋巴细胞、嗜酸性粒细胞等免疫细胞的迁移和活化。CCL11的过表达可能影响其他趋化因子的平衡,如抑制某些Th1型免疫反应相关的趋化因子;而表达不足可能导致嗜酸性粒细胞募集减少,影响相关免疫应答。在肿瘤微环境中,CCL11可能通过招募免疫抑制性细胞促进肿瘤免疫逃逸。

This antimicrobial gene is one of several chemokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Chemokines form a superfamily of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The superfamily is divided into four subfamilies based on the arrangement of the N-terminal cysteine residues of the mature peptide. This chemokine, a member of the CC subfamily, displays chemotactic activity for eosinophils, but not mononuclear cells or neutrophils. This eosinophil-specific chemokine is thought to be involved in eosinophilic inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, asthma and parasitic infections.
