摘要:: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) have been extensively used for relief of pain and fever, and prevention of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases for several decades. Recently, the use of these compounds has been reported to be associated with reduction in occurrence of a variety of cancers. In this paper, we reviewed anti-cancer mechanisms of NSAIDs and their potential preventive and even therapeutic effects on cancer, focusing on esophageal cancer in particular.
