摘要:: During the last years the chemotherapy in osophageal, stomach and pancreatic cancer demonstrated some success. Radiochemotherapy for esophageal cancer is indicated as neoadjuvant therapy before surgery in locally advanced cancer or in patients with other diseases, which do not allow surgery. In stomach cancer patient there is a clear indication for chemotherapy in metastatic disease and within clinical trials as neoadjuvant chemotherapy in locally advanced cancer. In pancreatic cancer patient the chemotherapy shows less success comparing to other gastrointestinal cancer; it is part of the palliative concept with other therapeutic strategies.
